Cookies, Trains, and Quality time

We jump started our holidays last weekend with a ride on the Polar Express.  The day after we had rode the train we asked Lola what her favorite part was.....her reply was the cookie, hot cocoa and time spent with her friend!  It made my heart happy!  Quality time together is what the holidays are all about whether it's sitting around a turkey, Black Friday shopping, hunting down the perfect tree, driving around to see the lights or donating our time.  My favorite memories are made when baking and cooking with friends and family!  Last night Lola and I made pie dough and cookies, so fun!  We always make a big mess and dirty lots of dishes but we laugh and have so much fun.  The cookie of choice last night was peanut butter with a kiss pressed in.
