As a photographer I hear people say all the time "just photoshop this or that out please". The reality is yes I can change pretty much anything.  Swap heads and eyes, remove wrinkles....both in your skin and that tie that you found crammed in the back of your drawer.  But I also love recording a moment in time for you and your loved ones to treasure!  So, yes I will help out where I see fit but no I don't feel good about shaving 20 years off your face so I won't be doing that!  Sometimes when people say that it's because they have not had a beautiful portrait taken before.  One that is beautifully lit to enhance your features.  Posed to accentuate your better side.  Expression perfectly captured.

I love when someone thinks I have spent hours editing a photo when in reality I nailed it in camera and only had minor touch ups. This is what your loved ones see everyday. They see you through their love lenses.  They see your amazing shine, now it's time for you to!

So my point is stop being so critical and get a great portrait taken!
