 Earlier this year I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph this lovely senior. She wanted artistic outdoor portraits that captured natural light, movement with a story-driven feel. We began at Silver Falls State Park in the evening to make the most of the setting sun filtering through the trees. Her dress was perfect for creating soft movement, and I loved the way the backlight, white dress, and sun rays came together.

Next, we headed to the Oregon Garden for a different look and feel. The variety of textures and colors there created beautiful backdrops, and the buildings and gazebos added just the right amount of visual interest.

Overall, we created a collection of images that truly reflect Paula’s personality and story.
